For every question the right contact
In addition to us and our student advisory service, there are of course many other people at the University of Stuttgart who can help you with your problems. If you are not sure which person is responsible or who is the right person to resolve your issue, you can contact us or simply write to one of the people listed below (even if their not the person for the job, they may know who is and forward your issue).
If you have any questions concerning your studies, examination regulations, change of study program, etc., you can contact the appropriate departmental study advisor.
For Informatik this is currently Dr. Stefan Zimmer. For Software Technik, Data Science and Medieninformatik contact Dr. Katrin Schneider. For Lehramt, Technikpädagogik and minor subjects Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hertrampf is responsible. For Computer Science contact Dr. Stefanie Anstein.
If you are at a loss as to how to proceed with your studies or if you are having problems with them, the Studienlotsen will always offer you a sympathetic ear, try to answer your questions and work on a solution for you.
Note: The Studienlotsen program is currently in a transitional phase, as the project financing has expired. Therefore, some positions of the Studienlotsen are currently vacant.
As part of the Education Quality Package, we have gained another person to contact: the Ombudsperson Teaching. She is the contact person for organizational and interdisciplinary problems, complaints or suggestions regarding courses of study and is available to support students in case of problems with the administration or faculty.
Whoever has questions about exam withdrawal, registration modalities, or other problems with exams should take a look at the homepage of the examination board.
The Examination Office is responsible for all the organizational matters for examination. It doesn’t matter if you want to withdraw from an exam due to short term illness, or if there were problems with the exam registration, or anything along those lines : the Examination Office can answer all your questions about examinations!
